We are an emergency shelter that provides a place to sleep, showers, personal hygiene items, laundry services, clothing vouchers, and three full meals per day to our Residents.
We house over 100 men & women in our facilities, which includes our Dorms, The Bailey Home for women & children, and our Transitional Housing.
We offer prayer, accountability to sobriety, and Case Management Services.
Anyone can join us for our weekly church service on Sunday’s in the day room.
The Bailey Home is a safe home for women & children, a place they will be cared for and loved.
Clothing vouchers, assistance navigating things like healthcare, mental health, and recovery services are some of the services offered to the women living in the home. Women will also get assistance in resources such as food stamps, employment services, official documents, family services, obtaining health insurance, and the opportunity to gain positive renters history.
The Bailey Home is named to commemorate Albany Helping Hands founder, the late Pastor Les Bailey.
His faith in the Lord and Love for people molded his vision in the building of the organization.
